Liebe Läuferinnen und Läufer, Klimagerechtigkeitsaktivisten, Sponsoren und Helfer!

Wir haben beschlossen, unsere KLIMATRUN-Veranstaltung am 27. März 2020 abzusagen.

Wir wissen, wie sehr Sie alle aufgeregt waren und sich auf diese besondere Veranstaltung vorbereitet haben, und werden nun warten müssen.

Wir wissen, dass unsere Veranstaltung sehr wichtig ist, aber wir haben diese Entscheidung im Hinblick auf die Gesundheit aller getroffen, der Schüler und Studenten, der Freiwilligen und ihrer Familien und auch in Solidarität mit den Menschen, die in den Krankenhäusern und Kliniken ihr Bestes tun, um die wachsende Zahl von Menschen, die an dem Coronavirus leiden, bestmöglich medizinisch zu versorgen.

Wir werden Sie auf dem Laufenden halten, sobald wir mehr Informationen erhalten.

Dear runners, climate Justice activists, Sponsors and helpers!

We have decided to cancel our KLIMATRUN event on March 27, 2020.

We know how much all of you were excited and preparing for this special event and will now have to wait.

We know that our event is very important but we have taken this decision in consideration of the health of the everyone, school kids and students, the volunteers, and their families and also in solidarity with the people who are doing their best in hospitals and clinics to provide the best possible medical care for the growing number of people suffering from the coronavirus.

We will update you as we get more information.

Climate change is class war - a war by the rich against the working classes, the small farmers, the poor. They carry the burden on behalf of the privileged. The violence of climate change is driven by the choice to keep burning fossil fuels - a choice made by corporations and Western governments, together with domestic elites and militaries. It is the outcome of a century of capitalism and colonialism. 

The goal of our run is to bring Campus community members together around the cause of climate change in another setting, with the hope of creating a positive, walk/run through which people can fight for what is right and have fun at the same time!

Funds that we collect will go towards educational programs on climate justice. These education efforts to address climate change is what we consider urgent.

and will take place at 13:00-13:45. Or the day before at the Zentral Menza INF 304 from 14:00-16:30.
