Run For Climate Justice/
Climate change is class war - a war by the rich against the working
classes, the small farmers, the poor. They carry the burden on behalf of the
privileged. The violence of climate change is driven by the choice to keep
burning fossil fuels - a choice made by corporations and Western governments,
together with domestic elites and militaries. It is the outcome of a century of
capitalism and colonialism.
The goal of our run is to bring Campus community
members together around the cause of climate change in another setting, with
the hope of creating a positive, walk/run through which people can fight for
what is right and have fun at the same time!
Funds that we collect will go towards educational
programs on climate justice. These
education efforts to address climate change is what we consider urgent.

Day-of
registration will be cash only at the basketball court
and will
take place at 13:00-13:45. Or the day before at the Zentral Menza INF 304 from
14:00-16:30.
